Amelia joined Treadwell Gordon as a Garry Spooner Scholarship recipient during the 2024/25 summer and returned to the firm in February 2025 after completing her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Economics and International Business. She is now a Solicitor at the firm.
With a strong academic foundation, Amelia is currently exploring a variety of areas within litigation, family law, employment law, and estates. She has developed a particular interest in how the law applies to real-life situations, eager to see theory translated into practice.
Outside of her professional life, Amelia's passion runs deep – she hails from generations of farmers in the King Country and Whanganui, and is a proud Chiefs supporter and netball coach. When she's not developing her legal career, you’ll find her spending time on the farm or window shopping for her next pair of sneakers!
