Since joining the firm in 2017, Brittany has become a trusted and respected member of our litigation team. Her practice spans estates, employment and civil litigation, and she is known for her practical approach, her steady guidance and her ability to give clients confidence in difficult moments.
Brittany’s work is grounded in a clear philosophy. Litigation should be strategic, efficient and focused on achieving the right result without unnecessary cost or complexity. She understands that for many clients, the legal process can feel overwhelming. Her role is to bring clarity, create a plan, and guide people through each step with confidence.
While Brittany is skilled at resolving matters early where that is the best outcome for her clients, she is equally known for her strong advocacy. She regularly appears in the Family Court, District Court, High Court and Employment Court, and is fully prepared to file and advance proceedings when firm action is required to protect her clients’ interests.
A significant part of Brittany’s practice involves estate litigation. She works with families to uphold their loved one’s wishes or to advocate for beneficiaries who have been left out of a will or treated unfairly. These matters can be emotional and complex, particularly where family relationships are strained. Brittany focuses on reducing stress for her clients while progressing matters efficiently, whether through negotiated resolution or by obtaining the necessary court orders. Her experience includes claims involving breaches of trustee or attorney duties, disputes over the validity of wills and applications to the High Court for directions.
Brittany’s civil litigation work includes advising on a wide range of commercial and property disputes. Whether the issue involves a contract, a breakdown in business relationships or a property disagreement, she takes a strategic, outcome‑driven approach. She understands that business owners are busy and that disruption has real consequences, and she works to resolve matters in a way that is both effective and commercially sensible.
In her employment practice, Brittany acts for both employers and employees. She understands the commercial realities that sit behind workplace issues and advocates for pragmatic, cost‑effective solutions. She also carries out independent workplace investigations and provides clear, practical advice on managing risk and process.
Clients value Brittany’s clarity, her empathy, and her ability to provide strong, decisive advocacy when it matters most. She is known for helping clients understand their options and for standing firmly beside them throughout the process.
